In
front of me, the last step of the Plateau, to the right the Andes. They’ve
never been so close.
All the people I’ve met since seem very clear to me.
They know the Puna, it’s lost pueblos like Pocitos, because they all have some
far relatives living up there. But when they heard the word "la Cordillera",
their expression and voice suddenly changed; too cold, too far away, too high;
a psychological wall.
They asked me why I was going there;
the same strange question my family asked me before I left home.
People, so difficult to understand them sometimes..., dedicated to all travellers.
